  1. Operate and monitor machines in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed to ensure optimal machine performance.
  3. Set up and load materials onto machines, following production schedule and specifications.
  4. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality of production.
  5. Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance.
  6. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times.
  7. Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment and tools are properly stored.
  9. Continuously monitor and inspect product quality to meet company standards.
  10. Assist in training new employees on machine operations and procedures.
  11. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  12. Attend and participate in required training and development programs.
  13. Remain up-to-date on industry developments and best practices related to machine operations.
  14. Uphold the company's values and represent the company in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Assistant Machine Operator At Westrock Is A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And The Ability To Follow Instructions And Learn New Skills.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Assistant Machine Operators At Westrock Should Have A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Problems Related To Machinery. This Includes Understanding The Basics Of How Machines Work And The Ability To Make Minor Adjustments To Keep Them Running Smoothly.

  • Previous Manufacturing Experience: Prior Experience In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment Is Preferred For An Assistant Machine Operator At Westrock. This Shows A Familiarity With The Industry And An Understanding Of The Importance Of Safety, Quality, And Efficiency In A Fast-Paced Production Setting.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Assistant Machine Operator, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring The Quality Of The Final Product. This Includes Inspecting Materials, Monitoring Machine Operations, And Identifying Any Issues That May Arise During The Production Process.

  • Physical Stamina: Assistant Machine Operators At Westrock May Be Required To Stand, Bend, And Lift For Extended Periods Of Time.
