Project Control Analyst

Westat is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Control Analyst to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a person with great organizational skills and an understanding of project management principles. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, have excellent communication skills, and a passion for meeting deadlines.The Project Control Analyst will be responsible for providing project management support to our team and ensuring the successful completion of projects. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Previous experience in project management is preferred. Knowledge of project budgeting and scheduling software is also desirable. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that deadlines are met
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
• Analyze project data and make recommendations to improve project performance
• Monitor project performance, identify and report issues/risks, and suggest solutions
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide project updates
• Create and utilize project management tools and techniques to improve project success
• Develop and maintain project plans, including goals, tasks, milestones, and resource allocations
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, etc.
• Identify and evaluate potential project risks, and create contingency plans for risk mitigation
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure project objectives and goals are met
