- Oversee and manage a wide range of IT projects within Westat, ensuring their successful completion within designated timelines and budgets.
- Utilize strong leadership skills to guide and motivate project teams, consisting of both internal and external stakeholders, towards achieving project goals.
- Develop project plans and allocate resources accordingly to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of IT projects with overall business objectives.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continually improve project management methodologies and processes.

Extensive Project Management Experience: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Managing It Projects, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Technical Knowledge: In-Depth Understanding Of It Systems And Technologies, Including Software Development, Database Management, And Network Infrastructure. Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Technical Teams And Understand Their Needs.
Leadership Skills: Strong Leadership Abilities With The Ability To Motivate And Guide Project Teams To Achieve Project Goals. Must Be Able To Effectively Manage And Resolve Conflicts, And Maintain A Positive And Productive Work Environment.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels. Must Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members.
Project Management Certification: A Project Management Professional (Pmp) Certification Or Other Relevant Project Management Certification Is Preferred. This Demonstrates A Thorough Understanding Of Project Management Principles And Best Practices.
