Job Description

West Virginia United Health System seeks an experienced Sr IT Project Manager to lead our IT projects to successful completion. In this role, you will bring expert knowledge of IT project management to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage risk, and identify areas of opportunity.To excel in this role, you must possess exemplary communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, including experience with complex projects, is required. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.If you are a motivated, detail-oriented individual, we invite you to apply to join our team. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead IT projects to successful completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity.
  3. Manage risk and ensure quality control.
  4. Develop project plans, timeline, and budget estimates.
  5. Monitor project status and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
  6. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Implement project management best practices and ensure compliance with IT standards.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  9. Identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
  10. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
