Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding Social Worker with experience and expertise to join the West Virginia United Health System (WVUHS) and provide essential support to our patients and their families. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care.The successful Social Worker will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, as well as a valid license to practice in the state of West Virginia. Additionally, they must be knowledgeable of the principles, practices, and standards of clinical social work, and demonstrate superior communication and interpersonal skills.The Social Worker will play an integral role in the WVUHS team by connecting patients and their families with the resources they need to achieve their treatment goals. They will be responsible for providing counseling and support services, assessing patient needs, and creating individualized treatment plans.
