Job Description

At West Virginia United Health System, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. You will assess and plan patient care, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families.We are looking for a self-motivated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and has an eye for detail. To be successful in this position, you must have at least an Associate degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and plan patient care.
  2. Administer medications as prescribed.
  3. Provide education to patients and families.
  4. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
  5. Maintain patient records and provide documentation for all treatments.
  6. Ensure patient safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
  7. Maintain knowledge of current trends and advancements in cardiac catheterization.
  8. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to provide the best possible care to patients.
  10. Comply with all regulations and policies related to the practice of nursing.
