Job Description

At West Virginia United Health System, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, as well as a thorough understanding of third-party reimbursement policies and procedures. We are looking for a professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate with colleagues and provide exceptional customer service.The Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist will be responsible for understanding and applying a variety of billing and coding regulations, procedures, and guidelines. They will ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for our services and will be a key contributor to maintaining our financial integrity. Responsibilities of the Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist:

• Ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for services rendered • Apply a variety of medical billing and coding regulations, procedures, and guidelines • Maintain financial integrity by understanding and adhering to third-party reimbursement policies and procedures • Provide customer-centric service with a focus on problem-solving and collaboration • Maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy of data entry • Verify accuracy of codes used for billing and coding • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Communicate with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to facilitate daily tasks and projects • Stay up-to-date with industry and organizational changes related to billing and coding
