Job Description

We at West Virginia United Health System are seeking an experienced Resource RN to join our team. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Resource RN will provide exceptional patient care and ensure the delivery of nursing care is in line with best practices. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping others, great interpersonal skills, and be willing to work in a collaborative team environment. To be considered for this position, the minimum qualifications are a current Registered Nurse license, at least two years of acute care experience, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.If you possess the qualifications and have a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities of a Resource RN:

  1. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure that nursing care is in line with best practices.
  2. Monitor patient progress and document care plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
  3. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Communicate any changes in patient condition to the Nurse Manager.
  5. Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety.
  8. Maintain professional standards of practice and adhere to hospital policies.
  9. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients.
