
Registration Specialist- Patient Access
West Virginia United Health System is currently searching for a Registration Specialist- Patient Access to join our team. Our goal is to maintain the highest level of patient satisfaction through quality customer service. This role will be responsible for registering patients in a timely and accurate manner, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring all patients receive a warm and welcoming experience.To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and have strong computer proficiency. Additionally, you must have high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in registrar/patient access or similar role are preferred.If you are a customer service-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Registers patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Provides excellent customer service and ensures all patients receive a warm and welcoming experience
- Multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Follows all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintains patient information confidentiality
- Provides accurate information to patients regarding insurance coverage and payment options
- Processes incoming/outgoing calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Updates patient information in the system
- Resolves customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Assists in resolving any patient issues related to registration and payment
- Monitors and records patient satisfaction levels
- Completes all pre-registration paperwork and processes as needed
