Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Director – Emergency to join our team at West Virginia United Health System. The Medical Director will be responsible for providing administrative leadership and clinical oversight of the Emergency department. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for establishing standards of practice for the department, employing evidence-based clinical protocols, and delivering excellent patient care.The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and be board-certified in Emergency Medicine. The Medical Director should have a minimum of five years' experience working in emergency medicine and be able to demonstrate leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care. You should also have a record of successful collaboration with other healthcare professionals and staff. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are a must.
