Job Description

We’re looking for a driven and highly capable individual to join our West Virginia United Health System team as our Manager of Enterprise Information Technology. The successful candidate will be a technology leader who is accountable for the strategy, design, development, and maintenance of our technological infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our technology platforms are optimized, secure, and able to meet the needs of our organization. You will collaborate with IT teams across departments, providing both technical and strategic guidance.To excel in this role, you must have a deep understanding of IT best practices, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to think critically and strategically. You should be an excellent communicator who can manage relationships with stakeholders across departments. We’re looking for someone who is motivated, organized, and has a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities: -Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization -Design, develop, and maintain technological infrastructure -Provide technical and strategic guidance to IT teams across departments -Ensure technological systems are secure and optimized -Manage relationships with stakeholders across departments -Research and recommend technological solutions to improve efficiency -Monitor and analyze system performance and update accordingly -Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions -Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards -Train and mentor junior IT staff

The WVU Health System, WVU Medicine's largest component, is a not-for-profit corporation and West Virginia's largest employer. West Virginia United Health System helps residents in the Mountain State stay on top of their health. The system operates United Hospital Center (in Clarksburg), as well as hospitals in the West Virginia University Hospitals (WVUH) system, including City Hospital (Martinsburg), Jefferson Memorial Hospital (Ranson), and WVUH's home hospital in Morgantown.
