
Employee & Labor Relations Consultant
West Virginia United Health System is looking for an Employee & Labor Relations Consultant who is passionate about employee relations and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and implementing policies and providing guidance to management and employees on the resolution of employee and labor relations matters. This is a great opportunity for a professional who is able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and enjoy a fast-paced environment.To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least five years of experience in employee and labor relations. They must also have knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team setting is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing excellent customer service and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement employee and labor relations policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and advice to management and employees on employee and labor relations issues.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Develop and implement strategies to resolve disputes.
- Develop and implement training programs for management and employees on employee and labor relations topics.
- Monitor and evaluate employee and labor relations activities.
- Assist in the negotiation and administration of labor agreements and contracts.
