
Clinical Denials Coordinator
At West Virginia United Health System, we are looking for a motivated Clinical Denials Coordinator who is eager to join our team. This position requires a passionate individual who has experience in clinical denials management and is committed to helping our organization with optimizing revenue cycle processes. The Clinical Denials Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing denials management and appeals, resolving denials, and ensuring the accuracy of denials data.The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications: a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare-related revenue cycle management, knowledge of coding, billing, and reimbursement practices, understanding of payer policies and regulations, strong organizational and analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities of the Clinical Denials Coordinator:
- Monitor denials management processes and appeals to ensure accuracy of denials data.
- Analyze and resolve denials in a timely manner.
- Identify trends and root causes of denials and recommend solutions to prevent future denials.
- Liaise with payers to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze reimbursement practices and trends in the healthcare industry.
- Ensure accuracy of coding, billing, and reimbursement practices.
- Assist with training and development of staff to improve revenue cycle processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims.
- Develop and maintain relationships with payers and other healthcare organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators related to denials management.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management.
- Maintain knowledge of changes in laws and regulations related to denials management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
