Job Description

The West Virginia United Health System is currently seeking a Clinical Associate - Nursing Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and caring demeanor, along with the qualifications listed below.The Clinical Associate - Nursing Assistant will provide support to the nursing staff and patients in the hospital setting. This individual will be responsible for performing delegated nursing tasks, delivering quality patient care, and adhering to the standards of practice and policy of West Virginia United Health System. The successful candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and possess the capacity to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist nursing staff with patient care, including assisting with procedures, dressing changes, answering patient call lights, and other delegated tasks.
  2. Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  3. Provide patient education, answer patient questions, and address patient concerns.
  4. Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.
  5. Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
  6. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  7. Follow and adhere to the standards of practice and policies of West Virginia United Health System.
  8. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  9. Assist with laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
  10. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
