Job Description

Clinic LPNs are essential members of West Virginia United Health System's nursing team, providing compassionate and professional care to our patients. We are looking for a highly organized and dependable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is committed to providing superior patient care. The successful candidate must possess a current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the West Virginia Board of Nursing and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinic setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct and compassionate patient care in accordance with West Virginia United Health System policies and procedures.
  2. Work collaboratively with other health care professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  3. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Document patient care activities in the electronic medical records system according to established protocols.
  5. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
  6. Monitor patient vital signs, and report any changes or abnormalities to the supervising physician.
  7. Assist with scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed.
  8. Maintain a current and valid LPN license from the West Virginia Board of Nursing.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development and education.
