
Clinic LPN
Clinic LPNs are essential members of West Virginia United Health System's nursing team, providing compassionate and professional care to our patients. We are looking for a highly organized and dependable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is committed to providing superior patient care. The successful candidate must possess a current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the West Virginia Board of Nursing and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinic setting. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and compassionate patient care in accordance with West Virginia United Health System policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other health care professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Document patient care activities in the electronic medical records system according to established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Monitor patient vital signs, and report any changes or abnormalities to the supervising physician.
- Assist with scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a current and valid LPN license from the West Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development and education.
