Logistics Specialist

Werner Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Specialist to join our growing team. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of our products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.To be successful in this role, the Logistics Specialist should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Candidates should also be proficient in MS Office and have a working knowledge of basic logistics or supply chain software. Additionally, the Logistics Specialist should have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to work independently. Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
2. Utilize supply chain and logistics software to ensure accurate inventory and shipment tracking
3. Monitor and adjust shipment times to meet customer needs
4. Maintain excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
5. Work with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of shipments
6. Analyze and troubleshoot problems to ensure timely delivery
7. Generate reports to ensure accuracy of shipment data
8. Develop and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency of logistics processes
9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
10. Monitor and analyze shipment costs to identify areas for cost savings
