  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all facilities and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose facility issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
  4. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment for maintenance tasks.
  6. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the facilities maintenance team to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  9. Communicate effectively with management and other departments to address facility needs and provide updates on maintenance work.
  10. Stay informed on industry advancements and best practices for facilities maintenance and make recommendations for improvements.
  11. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to facilities management.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow proper waste disposal procedures.
  13. Train and mentor new employees on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and functionality of facilities and equipment and make recommendations for improvements.
  15. Remain available for on-call maintenance duties as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For The Facilities Maintenance Technician Job At Werner Enterprises Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Educational Qualification.

  • Prior Maintenance Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Maintenance Work, Preferably In A Facilities Or Commercial Setting. This Could Include Experience In Plumbing, Electrical Work, Carpentry, Or Hvac Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: As A Facilities Maintenance Technician, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures. Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Be Able To Identify And Address Potential Safety Hazards.

  • Attention To Detail: Facilities Maintenance Technicians Need To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Identify And Address Any Maintenance Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner. This Includes Being Able To Troubleshoot Problems And Find Solutions Quickly.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Job May Require Physical Labor, Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Equipment Or Materials. Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina And Ability To Perform These Tasks Safely And Effectively.
