- Troubleshoot and diagnose facility issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other members of the facilities maintenance team to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to address facility needs and provide updates on maintenance work.
- Stay informed on industry advancements and best practices for facilities maintenance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to facilities management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow proper waste disposal procedures.
- Train and mentor new employees on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and functionality of facilities and equipment and make recommendations for improvements.
- Remain available for on-call maintenance duties as needed.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For The Facilities Maintenance Technician Job At Werner Enterprises Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Educational Qualification.
Prior Maintenance Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Maintenance Work, Preferably In A Facilities Or Commercial Setting. This Could Include Experience In Plumbing, Electrical Work, Carpentry, Or Hvac Systems.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: As A Facilities Maintenance Technician, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures. Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Be Able To Identify And Address Potential Safety Hazards.
