Diesel Mechanic

Werner Enterprises is looking for a motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help keep our fleet of trucks and trailers performing at their best. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, and have a passion for ensuring our vehicles are in optimal working condition. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all components of our company vehicles, while also helping to ensure our safety standards are met. We are looking for an individual who is willing to work hard and take pride in their work. To be considered for this position, you should possess a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair any issues with diesel engines
• Ensure all components of company vehicles are in optimal working condition
• Follow safety standards when performing maintenance work
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed
• Perform regular inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues
• Provide technical advice and guidance to other personnel as needed
• Keep all tools and equipment clean and in good working order
• Complete all tasks and assignments in a timely manner
