Job Description

At Werner Enterprises, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Account Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer service and account management principles and practices, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the transportation industry. The successful candidate must be able to build relationships with customers and handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.The Customer Account Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer accounts, from initial contact to resolution. They must be able to build relationships with customers, analyze customer needs, and provide solutions to meet their requirements. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of customer service or account management experience, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and develop relationships with customers and handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Analyze customer needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  3. Manage all aspects of customer accounts, from initial contact to resolution.
  4. Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Monitor customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction.
  7. Monitor customer accounts for service issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  8. Communicate effectively with customers and other departments.
  9. Maintain accurate customer records and files.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations for customers and internal stakeholders.
