- Develop and implement company-wide safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and make necessary recommendations for improvement.
- Train and educate employees on safety procedures and best practices to promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Collaborate with department heads and managers to address safety concerns and develop effective solutions.
- Monitor and analyze safety data, including incident reports, to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in safety standards, and ensure company compliance.
- Manage and maintain safety-related documentation, including training records, incident reports, and safety policies.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents, and work with relevant parties to determine root cause and prevent future occurrences.
- Conduct safety meetings and presentations to promote safety awareness and address any safety-related concerns or issues.
- Develop emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees in the event of a crisis.
- Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to stay informed about safety trends and best practices.
- Manage a team of safety professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure a high level of safety throughout the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Safety Management, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih).
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Safety Regulations, As Well As Industry Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Motivate Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.
