  1. Engage in innovative research: Conduct and publish original research in their field of expertise, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and academic excellence at Washington State University.
  2. Teach and mentor students: Design and deliver engaging and effective courses, providing students with a high-quality education and mentoring them in their academic and professional development.
  3. Contribute to the diverse scholarly community: Actively participate in departmental and university-wide events and initiatives, collaborating with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
  4. Uphold academic rigor: Maintain a high standard of academic integrity in all aspects of teaching, research, and service, fostering a culture of excellence and intellectual curiosity.
  5. Serve as a role model: Demonstrate a strong commitment to the university's mission and values, serving as a positive role model for students, colleagues, and the wider community.

Job Qualifications
  • A Completed Phd Or Equivalent Terminal Degree In The Relevant Field Of Study.

  • A Strong Record Of Research And Publications In The Field, Demonstrating Potential For Future Scholarly Contributions.

  • Experience And Success In Teaching At The Undergraduate And Graduate Levels, Including Evidence Of Effective Pedagogical Practices And Student Engagement.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Secure External Funding For Research Projects.
