  1. Provide compassionate and caring support to students in need, including but not limited to physical, emotional, academic, and financial support.
  2. Serve as a primary point of contact for students seeking assistance, and provide timely and effective responses to their inquiries.
  3. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of university policies, procedures, and resources related to student support services.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to ensure students have access to all available resources.
  5. Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their well-being and identify any potential issues or concerns.
  6. Create and maintain confidential student records, documenting all interactions and services provided.
  7. Develop and implement initiatives and programs aimed at promoting student success and well-being.
  8. Attend meetings and trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in student support services.
  9. Provide guidance and support to students in navigating challenging situations, including academic struggles, mental health concerns, and financial hardships.
  10. Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are addressed within the university community.
  11. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing student support services to better meet the needs of our diverse student population.
  13. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of student care services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Education, Or A Related Field.

  • Previous Experience Working With Students In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Trust With Students.

  • Knowledge Of Student Support Resources, Including Mental Health Services And Academic Advising.

  • Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion And Maintain Appropriate Boundaries With Students.
