- Develop and execute strategic events and engagement plans in alignment with the university's goals and objectives.
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of events, including logistics, budget, marketing, and post-event evaluation.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify event needs and ensure alignment with university priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance event opportunities and foster meaningful connections.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to bring innovative ideas and best practices to the university's events and engagement strategies.
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Develop and implement targeted communication strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure seamless execution of events.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling event materials and promotional content.
- Take the lead on event day logistics, including set-up, registration, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for improvement based on attendee feedback and data analysis.
- Stay current on university policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality and impact of events by seeking out new partnerships and innovative event formats.
Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Events And Tasks Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Stakeholders.
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Event Plans And Engagement Strategies, With A Focus On Achieving Desired Outcomes And Objectives.
