- Oversee and maintain the functionality of simulation equipment and software programs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure smooth operation of simulation labs.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement simulation training programs.
- Train and support faculty and students in the use of simulation equipment and software.
- Manage inventory and ordering of necessary supplies and equipment for simulation labs.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on simulation equipment and software.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in the simulation labs.
- Monitor and document simulation equipment usage and report any issues or concerns.
- Stay current with advancements in simulation technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of simulation scenarios and simulations sessions.
- Participate in simulation debriefings and provide technical support as needed.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to procure and maintain simulation equipment and software.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for simulation operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of simulation equipment and programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Simulation Technology, Or Instructional Design.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Simulation Operations, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Educational Setting.
Strong Technical Skills And Proficiency In Simulation Software And Equipment, Such As Gaumard, Laerdal, Or Cae Healthcare.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
Knowledge Of Best Practices In Simulation-Based Education And Experience Designing And Implementing Realistic Simulation Scenarios.
