
Patient Services Coordinator-Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care

- Manage patient intake process, including triage, registration, and scheduling appointments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide timely and accurate updates on their pet's condition.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Monitor patient status and communicate any changes or concerns to the medical team.
- Assist with the coordination of diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Provide compassionate support and assistance to clients during difficult and emotional situations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between clients, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital.
- Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the overall success of the department by taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Veterinary Clinic Or Hospital Setting, Preferably In Emergency And Critical Care.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Clients And Collaborate With Veterinary Staff.
Knowledge Of Small Animal Emergency And Critical Care Procedures, Protocols, And Equipment.
Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
