- Develop and manage a mentoring program for students and alumni at Washington State University.
- Create and implement strategies to engage and connect alumni with current students.
- Foster strong relationships with alumni, students, faculty, and staff to ensure a successful mentoring program.
- Organize and coordinate events and activities to facilitate mentor-mentee interactions.
- Recruit and train mentors and mentees, matching them based on their interests and goals.
- Provide ongoing support and resources for mentors and mentees to ensure a positive and impactful experience.
- Develop and maintain communication channels with alumni to keep them informed and engaged with the university.
- Collaborate with various departments and organizations on campus to promote the mentoring program and alumni engagement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to the mentoring program and alumni engagement initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the program and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in mentoring and alumni engagement.
- Represent the university at networking events and conferences to promote the mentoring program and alumni engagement initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between students, alumni, and the university administration.
- Uphold a professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with students, alumni, and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to mentorship and alumni engagement.
Bachelor's Degree In Education, Counseling, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Mentoring Program Coordination And/Or Alumni Engagement.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Diverse Groups.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Successful Mentoring Programs And Engaging Alumni.
Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Mentoring And Alumni Engagement, As Well As Familiarity With The Higher Education Landscape.
