- Maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records for all university employees.
- Organizing and inputting employee data into HR systems and databases.
- Assisting with the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including processing paperwork and conducting orientations.
- Responding to employee inquiries and providing information on HR policies and procedures.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures related to record keeping.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding record keeping and privacy.
- Collaborating with other HR team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Conducting audits and quality checks on employee records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assisting with special projects and initiatives within the HR department as needed.
- Staying up-to-date on HR best practices and industry trends related to record keeping.
- Providing excellent customer service to all university employees and stakeholders.
- Adhering to and promoting the university's mission, values, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance.
- Adhering to all university and departmental policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Experience Working With Hris And Record-Keeping Systems, Such As Peoplesoft Or Workday.
Knowledge Of Hr Policies, Procedures, And Best Practices.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Maintain Accurate And Confidential Records.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Handle Sensitive Employee Information With Discretion.
