Job Description

Washington State University is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Horticultural Weed Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be a critical member of our faculty and staff, playing an essential role in the development and implementation of our horticulture program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in weed science, horticulture, plant pathology, or related fields, with at least two years of experience in research and/or teaching in a college or university setting. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, who can think innovatively and create strategies to advance our horticulture program. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to the table. The Horticultural Weed Scientist will be expected to conduct research, develop and deliver teaching curriculum, and assist in the development and implementation of weed management strategies. This position will also involve working closely with students and other faculty members, and providing guidance and support in the areas of weed science and horticulture.
