- Manage and maintain financial records and accounts for Washington State University, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the university's annual budget.
- Process and review financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and reimbursements.
- Collaborate with other university departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for university leadership and external stakeholders.
- Communicate financial information and updates to university staff and faculty.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in financial regulations and policies to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and manage grant budgets.
- Provide support and guidance to university staff and faculty in regards to financial processes and procedures.
- Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve financial operations at the university.
- Represent the university in a professional and positive manner, embodying the values and mission of Washington State University.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Financial Software Programs.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Budgeting And Financial Management Principles And Practices.
