  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the Washington State University campus.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the safety and functionality of all electrical systems.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  4. Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities staff to coordinate work and ensure minimal disruption to campus operations.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when working with electrical systems and equipment.
  6. Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance and repair logs.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff by promptly addressing any electrical concerns or issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in electrical work.
  9. Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.
  10. Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations as needed.
  11. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and manage workload.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  13. Ensure compliance with all university policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Electrician Job At Washington State University Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Electrical Certification Or License: Candidates Should Hold A Valid Electrical Certification Or License From The State Of Washington Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
