  1. Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to support the university's mission and goals.
  2. Lead and manage a team of development professionals to meet fundraising targets and objectives.
  3. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors, alumni, and community members.
  4. Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including major gifts, planned giving, and corporate partnerships.
  5. Collaborate with university leaders, faculty, and staff to identify funding priorities and develop compelling proposals for donors.
  6. Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in higher education fundraising, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  7. Manage and oversee donor stewardship and recognition efforts.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions and fundraising progress.
  9. Serve as a representative of the university and effectively communicate its mission, values, and impact to external stakeholders.
  10. Work closely with the university's marketing and communications team to develop fundraising materials and campaigns.
  11. Attend university events and functions to build relationships and identify potential donors.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all fundraising activities.
  13. Collaborate with other university departments and teams to ensure alignment and coordination of fundraising efforts.
  14. Prepare and present regular reports on fundraising progress and results to university leadership.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and make adjustments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fundraising And Development, Preferably Within A Higher Education Institution.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business, Communications, Or Nonprofit Management. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Demonstrated Success In Securing Major Gifts And Managing Donor Relationships.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent The University And Engage With Diverse Groups Of Donors And Stakeholders.
