  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with the overall goals and objectives of Washington State University.
  2. Oversee the creation and production of high-quality, engaging, and relevant digital content for various platforms, including the university's website, social media channels, and email campaigns.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and design, to ensure consistency and effectiveness of digital content.
  4. Monitor and analyze digital content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and best practices in higher education and incorporate them into the content strategy.
  6. Manage a team of content creators, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the delivery of quality content.
  7. Work closely with university faculty, staff, and students to source and develop compelling stories and content that highlight the university's achievements and impact.
  8. Ensure that all digital content adheres to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and copyright laws.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as media outlets and influencers, to expand the reach of the university's digital content.
  10. Collaborate with the web development team to ensure that the university's website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and regularly updated with fresh content.
  11. Actively engage with the university's online community by responding to comments and messages and fostering a positive and inclusive digital culture.
  12. Assist in crisis communication management by monitoring and responding to any negative or sensitive online content related to the university.
  13. Manage and track the digital content budget and make recommendations for cost-effective strategies.
  14. Represent the university at conferences and other events related to digital media and higher education.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the university's digital content strategy based on audience feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Or Related Field.
