
Production Manager
At W. L. Gore & Associates, we are looking for an experienced and talented Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for production and will be motivated to ensure a high level of quality and efficient operations in all aspects of production.The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of production, from planning, scheduling, and monitoring production processes to ensuring production goals are met and quality standards are upheld. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in production management, excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in production management. An understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and a familiarity with automation and robotics is also highly desirable. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.If you have the qualifications and experience necessary to join W. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of production from planning, scheduling, and monitoring processes to ensuring production goals are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Develop and implement effective production plans and strategies with the goal of optimizing production processes.
- Monitor and control production activities to ensure that the production process is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resources and ensure that all production deadlines are met.
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvement to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that quality materials are being used in production.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are being followed and that the workplace is kept safe and compliant with safety standards.
- Train and motivate production staff to ensure optimal performance and ensure that all tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
- Set performance targets and monitor production performance to ensure that targets are being met.
- Create reports and documents related to production activities.
