Job Description

At W. L. Gore & Associates, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Performance Engineer to join our team. As a Product Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance of our products by developing and executing testing protocols. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and sales teams.To succeed in this role, you must have a B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials). We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in product design, development, and testing, as well as experience with product packaging, shipping, and installation.In this role, you must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving. You must also be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure product performance.
  2. Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
  3. Design, develop, and test products.
  4. Manage product packaging, shipping, and installation.
  5. Remain up-to-date on product performance and industry trends.
  6. Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and executives to optimize product performance.
  7. Analyze test results and make recommendations for product improvement.
  8. Develop and maintain internal product performance metrics.
  9. Develop and document technical specifications for product performance.
  10. Investigate and troubleshoot product performance issues.
