Manufacturing Cost Analyst
W. L. Gore & Associates is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, the Manufacturing Cost Analyst will play an integral role in developing cost estimates, analyzing cost data, and creating financial models to support the company’s manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving.To be successful in this role, the Manufacturing Cost Analyst should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in cost analysis. Candidate must also be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and have experience working with ERP systems. Responsibilities:
- Develop cost estimates, analyze cost data and create financial models to support the company’s manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and analyze spending trends to support the company’s cost optimization strategies.
- Develop and implement financial models to help identify cost savings opportunities.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of annual budget and long-term financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls procedures and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
- Maintain up-to-date records and databases of financial information.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.
