  1. Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting and financial reporting for Voya Financial.
  2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and GAAP principles.
  3. Lead the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  4. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
  5. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
  7. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and guidelines.
  8. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial fraud.
  9. Train and mentor junior accountants to develop their skills and ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  10. Participate in the annual audit process and assist with the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
  11. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  12. Communicate complex financial concepts and data to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  13. Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on accounting issues as needed.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the quality and accuracy of financial data and reporting.

Job Qualifications
  • Cpa Certification Or Equivalent, With A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Public Accounting Or Corporate Finance.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Financial Reporting Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Provide Strategic Insights.

  • Experience With Financial Systems And Software, Including Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Knowledge Of Erp Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Financial Information To Management And Stakeholders.
