  1. Develop and maintain complex and innovative financial solutions using Java technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
  3. Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
  4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  5. Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug code issues in a timely manner.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  8. Follow agile methodologies and participate in daily stand-up meetings, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
  9. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers on the team.
  11. Ensure code quality and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  12. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
  13. Collaborate with QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of software solutions.
  14. Continuously improve and maintain existing software solutions.
  15. Remain current on new technologies and programming languages relevant to the job.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient In Java Programming Language: A Full Stack Java Developer At Voya Financial Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience In Java Programming Language. This Includes Knowledge Of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, Data Structures, And Algorithms.

  • Experience With Front-End Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Front-End Development Technologies Such As Html, Css, And Javascript. They Should Be Able To Create Responsive And User-Friendly Interfaces For Web Applications.

  • Familiarity With Spring Framework: Voya Financial Heavily Relies On The Spring Framework For Building Enterprise-Level Applications. Therefore, A Full Stack Java Developer Should Have A Good Understanding Of Its Various Modules, Such As Spring Boot, Spring Mvc, And Spring Security.

  • Strong Database Skills: A Full Stack Java Developer Should Be Proficient In Database Management And Have Experience With Sql And Nosql Databases. They Should Be Able To Design And Optimize Database Schemas For High-Performance Applications.

  • Understanding Of Agile Methodologies: Voya Financial Follows Agile Development Methodologies, And The Full Stack Java Developer Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. They Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Cross-Functional Team, Follow Agile Practices, And Deliver High-Quality Code In A Timely Manner.
