Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities of a Procurement Specialist:

1. Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for goods and services.
2. Develop and implement strategies to maximize cost savings.
3. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of procurement regulations and procedures.
4. Utilize SAP Ariba or similar software for procurement activities.
5. Provide high-level customer service.
6. Communicate with vendors and other departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
7. Monitor and track procurement activities, including contracts and budgeting.
8. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
9. Audit invoices and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
10. Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
