Retail Associate

Volcom is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Retail Associate to join our team! If you are a fast learner, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a knack for working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect job for you!Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• 1-2 years of retail experience• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)• Sales and cashiering experience• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, and climb ladders• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner

• Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service

• Operate cash register and handle sales transactions

• Maintain store visual appearance and organization

• Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is well-presented

• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds

• Perform opening/closing duties, including setting up store displays and restocking shelves

• Execute store merchandising standards and maintain cleanliness of sales floor

• Handle customer complaints and escalations

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) for daily operational tasks

• Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services

• Promote store events and activities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures
