  1. Establish and maintain relationships with payers in the healthcare industry.
  2. Negotiate contracts and rates with payers to ensure optimal reimbursement for services.
  3. Conduct research and analyze market trends to identify potential new payer partnerships.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for payer relations and contracting.
  5. Monitor and evaluate payer performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry changes and regulations related to payer contracting and reimbursement.
  7. Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with payer contracting goals.
  8. Provide support and guidance to other team members on payer relations and contracting processes.
  9. Prepare and present reports on payer performance and contract negotiations to senior management.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all payer contracts and negotiations.
  11. Identify potential issues or concerns with payer contracts and proactively address them.
  12. Work closely with billing and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement from payers.
  13. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with payers.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in payer contracts.
  15. Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to payer contracting.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Payer Relations And Contracting In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Reimbursement Methodologies, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Insurance.

  • Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Payers.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions To Improve Reimbursement Rates And Contract Terms.
