- Oversee the admissions process for all hospice programs within the organization.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for increasing patient admissions and maintaining high occupancy rates.
- Lead and manage a team of admissions coordinators to ensure efficient and timely admissions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and clinical teams, to ensure a seamless admissions process.
- Evaluate and improve current admissions procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities and referral sources to generate referrals and increase admissions.
- Provide training and support to admissions team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively perform their roles.
- Monitor and analyze admissions data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure that all admissions documentation is accurately completed and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between the admissions department and other departments within the organization.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction throughout the admissions process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve the admissions process and stay competitive in the healthcare market.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement for admissions.
- Act as a leader and role model for the admissions team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Admissions, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Admissions Processes And Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid Guidelines.
