- Lead and manage the admissions team to achieve set goals and targets.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for increasing admissions and patient enrollment.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admissions process for patients.
- Train and mentor admissions team members to improve their performance and skills.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote VITAS Healthcare's services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies in the admissions process.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction throughout the admissions process.
- Create and maintain reports on admissions data and present findings to upper management.
- Participate in organizational planning and contribute ideas for improving the admissions process.
- Represent VITAS Healthcare at industry events and conferences to promote the organization's mission and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in admissions to continuously improve processes and strategies.
- Handle complex admissions cases and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Manage the admissions budget and make recommendations for cost-effective strategies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the admissions team.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Admissions Or Related Field: Candidates For This Role Should Possess A Strong Background In Admissions, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry. This Includes Experience In Managing Admissions Processes, Developing Strategic Plans, And Building Relationships With Referral Sources.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field: A Strong Educational Background Is Essential For A Director Of Admissions At Vitas Healthcare. A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or A Related Field Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In The Healthcare Industry And The Skills Necessary To Lead A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Director Of Admissions, You Will Be Responsible For Developing Relationships With Referral Sources, Communicating With Patients And Their Families, And Managing A Team Of Admissions Coordinators. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Ability To Lead And Develop A Team: The Director Of Admissions Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Admissions Coordinators And Ensuring They Are Meeting Goals And Objectives. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, And A Track Record Of Success In A Leadership Role.
