- Provide spiritual support and guidance to patients, their families, and staff members in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.
- Conduct spiritual assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
- Offer prayer, religious rituals, and spiritual counseling to patients and families as requested.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to address the spiritual and emotional needs of patients.
- Assist with end-of-life care and bereavement support for patients and families.
- Conduct group and individual spiritual support sessions.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of all spiritual care provided.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and their faith communities.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide input on the spiritual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with community clergy and faith leaders to provide support and resources to patients and families.
- Provide education and training to staff members on spiritual care and end-of-life issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards patients, families, and staff members.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth in the field of spiritual care.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Divinity, Theology, Or Related Field.
Ordination Or Endorsement From A Recognized Faith Group.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Chaplain In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Religious And Spiritual Beliefs And Practices.
Ability To Provide Spiritual And Emotional Support To Patients, Families, And Staff In A Compassionate And Respectful Manner.
