- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive revenue and meet/exceed sales targets for the East & Rocky Regions.
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure they are meeting their individual sales goals and providing exceptional customer service.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competition, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Analyze sales data and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Train and mentor sales team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of VF Corporation's brands, products, and target markets to effectively promote and sell to customers.
- Represent VF Corporation at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and establishing new partnerships.
- Communicate regularly with senior management, providing updates on sales performance, market trends, and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and optimization to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the sales team.
Relevant Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Apparel Or Retail Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Managing A Sales Team.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Successful Sales Manager Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Sales Representatives. They Should Also Have Experience In Training And Developing Sales Staff To Achieve Optimal Performance.
Knowledge Of The East & Rocky Regions: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Sales Landscape In The East And Rocky Regions, Including Market Trends, Customer Needs, And Competitor Activities. This Will Enable Them To Develop Effective Sales Strategies And Identify Growth Opportunities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Sales Manager Must Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Sales Representatives, And Other Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Accounts And Partners.
