They must have the ability to motivate and inspire team members to exceed expectations.The successful District Manager will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with demonstrated success in managing and leading a team. They must have a proven track record of successfully achieving goals and maximizing sales and profitability in a retail setting. Additionally, they should have a working knowledge of merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and budgeting. They must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, and have the ability to make sound decisions quickly. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers, employees, and other members of the VF Corporation team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to exceed expectations and achieve goals.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure they are knowledgeable on the products and services offered by VF Corporation.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and profitability of the retail stores and take appropriate action to drive sales and maximize profits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, employees, and other members of the VF Corporation team.
- Oversee inventory management, merchandising, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Monitor and review store operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop and implement strategies to improve customer service, increase sales, and reduce costs.
- Manage the district budget and allocate resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze customer feedback and use it to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
