- Utilize analytical skills to review sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed buying decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and pricing to ensure competitive and profitable product offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and make timely replenishment decisions to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular store visits to gain insight into customer preferences and product performance, using this information to drive future buying decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market competition to identify potential opportunities and risks for the business.
- Collaborate with the planning and allocation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to stores.
- Assist in creating and maintaining buying plans and budgets, adjusting as needed based on sales performance and market trends.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve any product or delivery issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the buying team in other duties as needed, including attending trade shows and market appointments.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Buying, Merchandising, Or Retail Operations.
Strong Analytical And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
Proficient In Microsoft Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.
