Threat Monitoring SOC Analyst

Verizon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Threat Monitoring SOC Analyst to join our team and help protect our digital infrastructure. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential threats to Verizon's network.
2. Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
3. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and processes.
4. Utilize scripting/programming languages (Python, Perl, etc.) to automate security tasks.
5. Stay up to date on current security threats and trends.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Work with other security team members to ensure threat data is accurate and up to date.
8. Utilize SIEM technologies (Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, etc.) to create security alerts and reports.
9. Create and present security reports to senior management.
10. Work with other teams to ensure compliance with security standards and requirements.
