  1. Conduct and oversee regular threat intelligence assessments and provide recommendations for proactive cyber security measures.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate and remediate them.
  3. Perform offensive and defensive red team exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of our security measures.
  4. Utilize threat intelligence tools and techniques to gather and analyze data on potential cyber threats.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cyber security and apply them to our network and systems.
  6. Develop and implement incident response plans to quickly and effectively respond to cyber attacks.
  7. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security gaps and develop plans to address them.
  8. Work with vendors and third-party partners to ensure the security of our network and data.
  9. Train and educate other team members on threat intelligence and purple teaming techniques and best practices.
  10. Continuously monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for potential security incidents.
  11. Participate in industry events and forums to stay informed on emerging threats and best practices.
  12. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that our security measures meet regulatory requirements.
  13. Maintain thorough documentation of all security processes and procedures.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on potential threats and security risks.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Threat Intelligence Tools And Techniques: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Various Threat Intelligence Tools And Techniques, Including Open-Source Intelligence Gathering, Threat Hunting, And Vulnerability Assessment.

  • Hands-On Experience With Security Operations: The Threat Intel Purple Team Engineer Should Have Experience Working In A Security Operations Role, With A Deep Understanding Of Incident Response, Threat Detection, And Remediation Techniques.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Scripting Languages: To Effectively Develop And Maintain Tools And Scripts Used For Threat Intelligence, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Programming And Scripting Languages Such As Python, Powershell, And Sql.

  • Familiarity With Network And System Security: A Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security Principles, Protocols, And Best Practices Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Network And System Infrastructure, Including Firewalls, Routers, And Intrusion Detection Systems.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Purple Team Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Large Amounts Of Data, Identifying Patterns And Trends, And Providing Actionable Insights. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are A Must For This Role.
