Job Description

Verizon is looking for a Technical Support Representative who has a passion for problem solving and helping others. This individual should be a patient and organized communicator with strong customer service skills and the technical know-how to troubleshoot a wide variety of technical issues. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve customer problems quickly and efficiently. If you have a knack for understanding customer needs and a desire to provide top-notch technical support, we want to hear from you.Required qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience• Strong knowledge of technical support principles, techniques, and tools• Proficiency with basic computer hardware, software, and networking concepts• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to customers with technical inquiries • Troubleshoot technical issues in a timely and efficient manner • Utilize technical support principles, techniques, and tools to resolve customer issues • Explain technical solutions to customers in a clear and understandable manner • Use basic computer hardware, software, and networking concepts to identify and resolve customer issues • Listen to customer needs and provide appropriate solutions • Work independently and collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction • Remain up-to-date on new technologies and trends in the industry • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
