Senior Engineer Consultant
Verizon is looking for a results-driven Senior Engineer Consultant to join our team and help us continue to innovate and grow our business. This position will require a self-starter with a great deal of technical knowledge and the ability to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with both internal and external partners.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You must be a skilled problem-solver and able to think strategically to develop solutions to complex engineering challenges. Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of telecom engineering, network architecture, and system integration technologies. Previous experience working with a variety of vendors and suppliers is essential. Responsibilities:
- Identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement in Verizon's telecom engineering, network architecture, and system integration technologies
- Develop relationships with internal and external partners to build business relationships
- Develop solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Actively participate in vendor and supplier negotiations
- Utilize problem-solving skills to identify risks and propose strategies to mitigate them
- Provide technical advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of engineering projects
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
